Hello, I'm Jamie. I'm twenty-four years old. I attend Appalachian State University and I am currently working on my B.A in Elementary Education. It seems like I have been in college forever- but I have maintained a full time job since I was eighteen. I will graduate, one day... but until then I will continue taking classes in the evenings while I work my full time job in marketing & purchasing during the day.
Simply, Jamie stemmed from my desire to blog about my life and the things I love. I have tried this blogging thing with numerous attempts and I end up doing it for a little while then completely stopping. This time- I am not going to let that happen. My best friend Brianne Rae so graciously spent her time to design my blog, and I have promised her that I would update on a regular basis. In my blog I plan to share a multitude of things with my readers including: crafts, recipes, product reviews, and a lot of things in between about my life. I hope that you will find my blog enjoyable and fun to read.
I am engaged to a wonderful man named James. We have been engaged for almost three years. I know, I know... I should really start planning a wedding. (which you may see on this blog as well) James is such a great guy and I could not ask for anyone better to spend the rest of my life with. I can not wait to have a family with him someday and grow old with him. He is certainly my better half. I always heard that opposites attract, and I never really believed that until I met James. He loves sports (any and all kinds)- while myself on the other hand... well we won't go there. We are complete opposites which makes for a interesting, adventurous love story.
I do not have any human children at this point in my life; however, I do have one fur baby that I love to absolute pieces. My cat's name is Oreo. She was little stray mama that showed up on our doorstep. She gave birth to a litter of beautiful little kittens that I was fortunate to find good homes for. After that, I got her spayed and now she is a part of our little family. She is an absolute sweetheart. She loves her jingly toys, and her current obsession is my Christmas tree. (which I worry about each day when I leave to go to work... I wonder if she is at home tearing it down)
